Daniel Thayer

Daniel is a postdoctoral scholar in the Sprague Lab. He earned his PhD in Psychological and Brain Sciences in the Sprague Lab at UCSB, and his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Iowa, where he worked with Dr. Eliot Hazeltine and Dr. Jan Wessel. While at the University of Iowa, he also worked with Dr. Andrew Hollingworth investigating how the contents of visual working memory guide attention. At UCSB, he is interested in learning more about the interactions between visual working memory and attention. Outside the lab, Daniel likes to listen to podcasts, travel, and play ukulele.
